Busking Festival
‘Unusual Music in Unusual Places’ B Sharp B Side the Sea Side.

“This is fabulous! Why didn’t we know about it before? Nothing we can do this year, except enjoy! But next year definitely!! This is absolutely what Count Me In should look and feel like”.
Richard Crowe – London 2012 Creative Programmer. www.london2012.com/culture
Local musicians were getting themselves in trouble when they tried to play along the sea front in Lyme so..B Sharp started negotiations gathered support and organised the first ever busking festival in Lyme.County and town councillors, towns people and visitors celebrated the event and gave generously. International musicians played with local people for some interesting results, the variety of styles, ages and experience was a reflection of time and place. Thanks to everybody who took part and get ready for the grand piano on the end of the cobb next year!
One busker said “all my musical life I have wanted to play in a shop doorway and this festival has made that possible, and on my 65th Birthday“.
