In 2007, Lyme Youth Arts first project was “September in the Shelters” a series of workshops that were held in the Marine Parade shelters on the seafront, a place where young people ‘hang out’.
The workshops were themed around light, sound, movement and image, this included Skiffle + Jam, busking, sculpture , visuals and projections, light installations, beat boxing, fire skills , stone balancing and much much more…
There was also a Big Bake workshop held at the Town Mill Bakery where young people and their families combined their bread tiles to create a massive masterpiece.
