Outreach

B Sharp run workshops with schools, colleges, youth projects, festivals and plan to create a cross generational community project for 2010-2011.

Outreach so far:

• Mountjoy school, a small County mixed day Special School for children and young people with severe, complex or profound and multiple learning difficulties .

• Weymouth carnival -collaboration with Bideford carnival troupe and Weymouth college

• Magic Drum Orchestra

• Hallett Court sheltered accommodation for the elderly

• The PitBall festival

• Plans to run music making workshops for young people out of school or who are at risk of exclusion are in the pipeline

• ‘Count Me In’ Cultural Olympiad

• Jurassic Coast Arts programme

• World Heritage and UNESCO

Partnerships

• Skills exchange with Plymouth and Bristol Youth Music Action Zones are planned for January 2010

• Summer school workshops with Sam Alexander, Notting Hill carnival 2011
