B Sharp ran a range of music making workshops helping to get the doors open of Insparation Youth Café by offering a range of workshops including:
DJ, Tec, Scratching, Beat-boxing… led by Glyn Bush Music leader, a DJ with International acclaim, he worked with young people to create their own tunes and loops while DJ Lee scratch master from Ways Of the Mouth, showed off some tricks of the trade and just how to make the most of those decks that are gathering dust!
Drumming workshops led by Ralph Cree, introducing traditional styles, using drums and percussion, creating rhythm out of anything, using your body, spoons, radiators and paper bags. Making electronic drumming loops and recording a track using only body sounds!
